Loneliness has made me a hopeless romantic,
I don't have the youth or charm to offer you,
I don't have the great health or wealth to share with you,
I only have me, a hopeless romantic, to make you smile at me.
When you first smiled at me,
your greetings ignited the sparkles of love in me,
I saw the mirage of the love oasis in your eyes,
I daydreamt of the fountain of affection in your smiles.
When you first touched my hands,
I almost got electrocuted by the loving sensation,
When I squeezed your hands with mine,
the sweats of love were born in the warmth of our affection.
When we were together for a few moments,
my loneliness hid itself in some distant corner,
Those few hours of conversation, fun and games,
will remain in my thoughts for days to come.
When you bid farewell with a gentle hug,
I thought I lost the biggest treasure in the world,
Even if you will be gone for a while,
Till we meet, I will be daydreaming about you day and night.

Three different pairs of eyes had seen,
A tree at the same time in different places,
Seeing what to them a tree did mean,
Unbound by temporal tense and spaces.
The first had seen a tree bent in a breaking arc,
From the rot of a melting Winter dew,
Bare of the before-breathing leaves and bark,
Which once spewed his dioxide as clean O2.
The second had seen a silhouette,
When he saw a tree within his gaze,
Which aimed at none within its hazed vignette:
The locus of focus shaded by his daydreamt daze.
The third and final had found a tree,
And looked upon its being,
And saw each piece of tree an eye can see,
That’s worth a sight deemed worthy of seeing.
Although each set of eyes had seen,
A different tree their seer saw,
Each had seen the same tree they saw to mean,
That which their mind’s eye happened to draw.
Although each set of eyes’ mind’s eyes,
Had drawn a different tree,
Each was disguised as failure to synchronize,
My mind as its sight splits mine from reality.

stop throbbing temple
blood pounded sight
dim daydreamt corneas
surround sharp morning light
hidden heart whispers
raging wan muffled souls
desire stoked embers
burn kiln shattered bowls
dermis flayed pilgrims
gnaw darkly smoked bones
slag dwelling convicts
flee coke crumbled clones
fly, fly away from
a wasteland of sorrows
as ash can yesterdays spill
into flashpoint tomorrows
is there only the now
present here in this spot
downshift stonebreak self speak
ungoverned egos run hot
blur sky, photochrome
squint into ink acid haze
peer at forever
as the danse macabre plays.
