Righteous Daughter

You are a righteous daughter,
With a place all your own in my heart.
Though life has came between us,
We haven't let it tare us apart.
You have always been so special,
The brightest light of my day.
Your laughter, smile and hugs,
Do take my breath away.

So when your down and out,
I hope I'm always near.
So I can show you how much I care,
With comfort and cheer.
I hope you know I Love You,
From the first day until the end.
Your not only my daughter,
You are also my friend...........

I wrote this for a true friend of mine to give to her daughter on her 20th birthday.

Shawn Marie

My little girl, those big blue eyes,
Could melt the coldest heart.
And at the same time
Warm a heart that's true.
And with those eyes, I hope someday
You find someone,
Who loves you just as much
As I love you.
I wish for you, my little girl,
That days are always bright.
I pray that I can teach you
What is good and what is right.
I hope for you, my little girl
The best that life can bring.
I want to always see you smile,
To hear your laughter, hear you sing.
I want you to remember
That no matter what you do,
You'll always be my little girl,
And I'll always love you!
