Best Weddinghappy Poems
Idle chatter, ladies natter, men are nervous, children clatter
round and round never sitting still
cannot wait much longer ‘til.
Here she is in all her splendour,
perfect posture , lips are tender
full of kisses for a true love beau.
Smiling happy celebration
long awaiting jubilation
excited happy little faces
jump up and squeeze through spaces
have to be there have to see
what will happen what will be.
Music plays choir sings
tears of joy this moment brings.
Silence whispers nervous tension
they say ” I do”
No apprehension.
Music plays choir sings
Congregation join the Hymns
Flowers thrown and petal scatter
Cake is eaten, ladies natter.
I tried to twist and turn it,
but no result so far i could see.
My ring is tight and aching,
my finger wants to be free.
i was happy on the day...
my ring slipped into my finger.
Topping my happiness was the rotten cake,
and the stinky glass of stinger.
Nothing wrong then i could see,
so happy than ever i could be.
I even felt like a princess....
Stop laughing! i know thats senseless.
I said 'I do' in a haste,
but didn't know all will turn into waste.
I knew i loved him like the star and the moon,
But didn't know i'll turn a dead duck soon.
Alas! all you ladies up there,
pull up your soxes, tighten your waist.
i know you would surely not want,
a 'Haste turned into Waste'.
blue and white flowers and decorations
framing the happy couple
... a picture perfect day
the happy tears and smiles intermingling
through wedding party and guests
... the joy was contagious
