Best Warcry Poems

Thunder

Rage in the skies.
A warcry of the defeated.
Romantic heroes.
True and passionate.
Souls doomed and torn
Suffering from hearts rotten.
The last shout of
Ones who kept quiet
A long time.
The silence unbearable
For their souls.

Odin

I sit beside the fire
Tankard of mead in my hand
Thinking of the comming battle
And what i do understand

I know i may die in this
Fighting for life and limb
Seeing my enemys charge me
Never letting my wits grow dim

I know the future is approaching
Where i must stand and fight
For my axe is here gleaming
And my sheild is in my hand

The battle is almost upon me
My blood boils in my vains
I stand and let out a warcry
As i will never be ashamed

My heart starts to beat faster
And my soul crys out his name
Odin please protect me
For i will always fight in your name

Love Is War

Mrs.Wrong just called me,
She’s outside my door..
She wants me to come out
And play a nice game of war.
She says she’ll play fair
(So only her rules apply)
She sounded so convincing
I thought, well hell,
The least I could do
was to give it a try
Mrs. Wrong never informed me
That she’s a witch like her mom..
She skipped using Cupid
and went right to nuclear bombs..
Mrs. Wrong...
So clever to bewitch
Pulled the oldest maneuver,
The Ol’ bait and then b**ch
Mrs. Wrong then so politely said
that I can’t fire back
Cause if her feelings get hurt
Than a false crimes a fact.
She also said
(In her sweetest WarCry)
That she loves me so much
She will be the reason I die.
Mrs. Wrong isn’t very friendly
And she told me one last thing
That when she’s done playing me
I won’t be left with a thing..
And in that moment
I realized with a start
That the Apple that was in Eden
Must of been a mans heart

One lifetime Carpe diem the hell out of your life

In the nicest way possible...

One lifetime
(Carpe diem the hell out of your life)
By Michelle Morris
29/12/2023

I don't care what inspires you
But I do hope that it's something good
So please make the decision today
To carpe diem the hell out of your life

Don't wait for another year
Don't wait for another decade
We live in magical times
We live with chaos and uncertainty

Let it be your mantra
Hell, let it be your warcry
Be courageous and outrageous
Because you only have one lifetime

Carpe diem: a phrase that comes from the Roman poet Horace. It literally means "Pluck the day"; though it's usually translated as "Seize the day".

Veterans Day

Today men cry for dead soldiers
I cry for flowers
That will die covering our shame
Do not tell me that I do not love
For I love my country
And weep at canvas villages among the trees
Where mothers wring their hands to feed
Children left forgotten in our greed.
Shall I grow them then
To be cut down
Adorning man's desolation
They went to war not so much for the wrong idea of liberation
But it was only chance
They could escape the destitution
They had known
Waking morning after morning waiting to die
On some miserable street with the maggot and the fly
From a better desperation.
There is no malice in those who killed them
And they too killed
Those they did not know
But there is a pain where the cities are tent
And the hole in the parent's heart
The hole in wives', children's, husband's heart
Is a hole made by the emptiness of love
I cry because we do not love
As strong as we hate ...
The way I hate the memory of wars.
