Best Teenpeople Poems

Why

As I remain here where I lie,
I keep asking that I will quickly die.

I hate this stupid self-centered life,
where all people are filled with hate & strife.

As my mom feels so wonderful from popping pills,
I'm stuck here with the worst gut-wrenching feeling that kills.

I'm sick of my life being filled with tears, cutting, & sadness.
Why can't we just end all the madness?

Why can't people have a life where no tears are seen, only laughs, smiles, & happiness.
And no one could intervene?

Done With Friends

I'm done with friends I really am,
I'm done with all the lies,
I'm done with all the backstabbers,
I truely do despise.

I'm done with giving my whole world,
Just to get slapped back,
Cuz honesty and loyalty,
It's something people lack.

I realy don't know why I try,
to make friends, near at all,
Cuz theres no people and therees no truth,
Friends only let you fall.

White Walled Room

I sit here in this white walled room, not knowing what to do,
I sit here in my misery, thinking all my wrongs through.

All there is to do in here, is think of my mistakes,
And think of all the people that have blown me off like flakes.

This room is full of people that I truely do despise,
But I have done them wrong as well, see myself through their eyes.

Its really hard to understand why I mess up so much,
But in this white walled room it gives me time to dwell on such.

And why I'm so pathetic i guess we will never know,
I know I'm stuck in here because the punches that I've thrown.

So anyone thats reading of the white walled room I'm in,
I'm sorry for what I've destroyed, including ex best friends.

She Is New

She walked around everyday.
Unsure of herself in everyway.
As she despised all.
She woke up every morning with a burning hate inside for herself.

And all of those who looked down upon her.
She wasn't the girl most guys prefered.
Labled a freak.
But inside a vibrant human being just like all of them.

So she ran away.
She refused to stay.
Her family cried.
Though she did not care anymore.

A new school.
With people not so cruel.
She is not known.
A fresh start for her to let people see the real person inside that has hidden for so long.

So she is not afraid.
And says what she needs to say.
She is not hated.
But is accepted by all of these new people she has invited into her life.

Now she is new.
And has friends not of a few.
She loves all.
And wakes up every morning with a burning love inside for herself.

Learn the Facts Befor You Judge

Emo - Emotional
A kind of style
A way of life
A brand of music
I’m sick and tired of
These people judging
Us and saying
Were just wrists slicing
Sob stories that need to just
Go and kill ourselves
But the truth is not
Every Emo in the world
Cuts them self’s
Believe it or not there is more
Non-Emo people who do cut
So for all yall out there
Who has put down and trashed
The word Emo learn the meaning
Before you open your mouth
And let all your hateful words spill out
Because one day they will turn on
You and then your going to be the
Sob story and then you can
See how bad it fills to be put down!

Beauty

inner beauty,
outer beauty,
she's got it all,
everyone thinks she's a doll,

some people like her more then they should,
which drives her to hide her beauty from as many people as she possibly could,
the thought of a person like that sickens her,
but now her beauty has lead someone like that to her makes matters worse,
she feels as if her beauty is more of a curse,

soon enough she'll be up and about,
strutting her beauty again,
inside and out.

The Steps of Boardwalk City

People are like cities
They’re beautiful at first
Cities are like people
They hold on to the worst
People are you and I
We mirror most of the hurt

I don’t believe in quarters
Pleasing wishing wells or
That waterfalls’ never break flow
Children of ruins and run
With no place to go

I miss the things
That I have forgotten
I can honestly say the most
For the people who were brought to me

And you should know
Bed time stories were nothing more than lies
And now you know
Why beggars and grown men with no homes
Have the best stories to tell

People are like cities
They’re left in ruins
Cities are like people
They’re broken in places
I can honestly say the most
For the people who were brought to me

Catherine’s in tears
But she lust for bachelors and ball room curtains
Rebecca moans
But there no rose petals in this empty city
Her mirror smiles and tells her she’s un-pretty
Sons of train stops
Children of rain drops
Orphans of this boardwalk city
Words cannot heal your wounds
But if helps your more than lovely
