My Friend

We get along
Because we dont belong

You get annoying a little
But I dont mean to be brutal

I make fun of you
Thats just how I do

Austin thinks he's a hoodlum
Lets admit, the kid's got a problem

I say you love him
But my memory is just a little dim

I knew I said
That this poem would be a dread

But I couldnt come through
I hope I dont get sued

I cant think any more
This poem is probably a bore

~This poem is going out to my friend Kenzie, I know I said that I would talk trash about you,
but I decided that this would be a even more of a shock to you. Hope you like it, and if you
dont, SCREW YOU THEN!...im just joking kenzie, i dont care what you think of it~

Farewell

The happiness that once radiated out from the deepest core of my body
The genuine smile that had been so common
The proud, tender smile that glowed in my every feature-
To all of that, farewell.

The love that I wanted with everything I have
The hope of finding that someone so special
The friends that up until recently had been the meaning of my life
As for my closeness to them and my every hope and dream-
Farewell.

It might be ridiculous to close myself off, but if I am honest I really don't care.
I figure it's time, if I want my hearts survival, to be a friend to myself
And only myself.
Gone is the me who wore her heart on her sleeve
Gone is the woman who yearned for a love
Gone is all feeling except the determination to remain closed off from all that I once
cherished.
Gone. I am gone.
Now farewell.

Sacrifice In Love's Name

I remember all those movies so sappy.
We were always together so happy.
You were nothing more than a friend.
That's what I made myself think, I had to pretend.

But the truth really was that I loved you.
I thought if not now, then that's what we'll both grow into.
But then she came.
I must however admit that you are the one I will blame.
Nothing was in control any longer.
Neither of us willing to fix it to make things stronger.

I gave my feelings away and you had said no
But my love clung on, not letting go.
But then you broke, you snapped on two.
There was no way, I didn't try to fix you,
My love still shined, so bright.
But my hatred turned to have a whole lot more might.

I wanted revenge and all I got was none.
I realized what we had is now completely gone.
I want you to know that it doesn’t matter.
And now that I am gone I hope you are better.

My love is never gone its only away.
I just hope you know and love me too someday.
I sacrificed myself for your well-being.
But there is something inside me, that tearing feeling.
