I have could not selected all right thoughts,
Because this night was too short.
The flapping of someone’s wings was easy,
And the poetry’s line was imperceptible.
Time rushes like a hurricane, and threatens us,
But at the end of the tunnel the light has appeared.
My lovely son! You will sing
so many good songs during your life!
Ah, today is your birthday,
You are sixteen years old!
Time runs and runs farther onward,
And in nature is commotion and disorder:
In December, the rains are knocking in
the glass of the windows,
Maybe, they cry, maybe songs sing.
But even if it will happen not in time,
A dazzling white snow will fall without doubt.
We shall decorate a fir-tree, we shall bake a pie,
And New Year will intercede for us.
