My Big Sister

~ My big sister~
For years we use to fight
My butt you would surely wipe
Up and down the floor
My cries you would ignore
We'd fight till I was sore
Still I loved you more and more

~My big sister~
We traveled different roads
Both with heavy loads
No one could judge what you chose
No apologies do you owe
Our pains were not exactly the same
Our lives we could not change

~My big sister~
You hung with the wrong crowd
On corners so very loud
Not afraid of anyone
Protected by fists you always won
If ever I was in trouble
You were there on the double
My enemies left in the rubble

~My big sister~
I looked up to you
No matter what wrong you'd do
In my mind I always knew
In the family you were the glue
Although weak at times
You always snapped us back in line

~My big sister~
You smoked cigarettes and weed
I never followed this lead
Never saw the need
This was your way to cope
It ultimately lead to coke
Which then lead to dope

~My big sister~
It was my turn to save you
Fear aside I knew what to do
Came through that door
So frightened by what I saw
You looked so confused
Your life I could not loose

~My big sister~
In normal fashion
You took charge with passion
Got that monkey off your back
Got your life back on track
Although we are not close
I felt you should know

~My big sister~
This is why you are the glue
This is why I will always love you

My Nouri

My
Baby
Sister, I
Promise never
To stop being your shield and protector.
You are growing up and soon will witness
How life looks like
Not Disney
Little
Sis,
My
Nouri,
No Miley
Zack or Cody
Only masks and lies, that reality
Will you have to bear, but never alone
For I’m always
There to guide
you dear
one.
Miles
Will soon
Make a way
To life away
From you baby, but stay assured that not
A single soul will hurt you for it'll pass
through me first. Not
a soul sis
not a
soul.

My Sister My Friend

There was someone in my life who always had a way
To make things not as bad as they seemed
And always brought on a smile or laughter
From a frown sadness and tears
But your no longer in my life
And now it is up to me to smile and laugh
And keep positive with everything I do
Try not to think of you to much and
constantly wish you were here
Stop missing our conversations of
Our hopes dreams and our fears
Talking on the phone for hours
Every single day and always
ending the call with
"I love you talk to you tomorrow"
There was someone in my life but
Now I will never see the smile
Hear the laughter or share a tear
And never again say to you
"I love you talk to you tomorrow"

Dedicated to my sister who was taken away much to soon

My Sister

Strolling down memory lane trying to set free of all the pain
Traveling away from our troubled past starting a new life finally at last
When you need to confide I'll be by your side
Thankful for my little sis only wanting your life to be full of bliss
Proud of who you are always know I will never be far
We are the rainbow on a cloudy day haveing eachother to guide the way
One the days whether I am right or wrong you are the one that keeps me strong

Your not a Premium Member, no one we want to know
Your POETRY is bland, not like ours that Brightly Glow
We really have not read YOUR Words or what YOU want to say
Do we care, Maybe when YOU prove YOURSELF "Someday"

Don't blame us, we live in our own Minds, our own Dreams
We write from our Hearts and Souls : as YOU : so it seems
I journey upon YOUR words, traveling the Life of YOUR Soul
From the deep blue sea of Life and Death , to the top of a grassy knoll
