My Rain

Let this rain rain
Let its shower pour
God's supposed blessings

The thunder is drumming
lightening strikes incessantly
the blue sky is downcast
Day has turned to night

Alas,i feel a drop
but that's all i get
For hours,i stare and yearn
For the downpour from above

Unseen hands keep it at bay
Immortal forces deny us of it
My disappointment reaches its peak
I scream out like a pained dog

ALLOW THE RAINS TO ROLL IN!
but to myself do my voice hit
dejectedly,i start to trot away

Alas,i felt two drops
The sky opens and it all falls down

I kneel and savor the rain's cold
The gods must have been listening

Summer Sky

Summer sky is smiling my way.
Clouds are blushing pink hues today.
Wind whistling, passes me by.
Sun kissing me; skin bronzing high.

Watermelon smiles, beaming seeds.
Lemonade mild, ice cubes in need.
Strawberry lovers, under trees.
Summer sky is smiling my way.

Old couples reminisce their days,
all the children stay out to play,
I keep watching, heat doesn't haze,
summer sky is smiling my way.

The light is going, but still see,
summer sky is smiling my way.
Body warmed from different rays,
O how I love this summer...sigh...

Wet Dream

There I stand as the sky gets darker
with clouds.

The rain starts to fall and the thunder gets
louder and the lighting gets brighter,
but yet I will not move.

The wind starts to get stronger.
The trees are falling down and things are
blowing in the air,
but yet I will not move.

The storm is here and it brings
hail with it,
but yet I will not move.

I look up to the sky and he can see my
tears, and he knows I have no fear.

The storm passes by and the sun comes out
and shines over me and I hear a alarm.

Then I wake up to realize it was all just a
dream.

Premium Member One Perfect Snowflake

A few short weeks ago

The sun was still hot and bright.

So warm, it was as if summer were still here.

But today the October sky is dark.

The clouds are a solid sheet of grey

And as fall settles in

The sky sends a gift,

One perfect snowflake.
