Cooling Toes

by Michael J Falotico

                                               On a warm summer night..
Two hands woven in each other..
The ocean is painted by the moonlight..
The glow follows our steps along the beach..
We lie on the warm dry sand as the sea rides in..
Our toes curl as the water plays with our bare feet..
Ankles entwined as baby shells tickle our toes..
Two bodies melted in a moonlight heat under the stars..
The scent of the sea and the crashing waves are the flow..
An evening of bliss from just the start of cooling toes..
