How do you write
when you're afraid people are going to read it?
So much apprehension
and feelings of distrust
waiting for the waves to come crashing down
Friends far and in between
yet no one stays true
The tension is building
and the current is getting stronger
There's only one I hope on now
because I don't sense betrayal from them
but hold back a few more seconds
The waves are crashing back down again
