Best Nostalgiapeople Poems
With well worn seats and over priced treats,
the theaters lights turn low.
The music blares, from the screen a glare,
for trailers of coming shows.
The stream of late people starts to slake,
and finally find their seats.
Smell of popcorn, noise of wrappers torn,
a movie date can't be beat.
Hero. Villain. A woman willin',
maybe a monster or two.
Then the scene where the heroine screams,
plot twists complete the tableau.
The credits roll, people join the goal,
to head out into nights flow.
Don't expect me to describe the movie,
we were necking in the back row.
