Best Naturestorm Poems
Dark clouds are beginning to show on the Horizon,
it seems as though just yesterday we had
a storm that crippled us for three days and nights,
That was the storm of the decade, now here we are
Christmas week, with another looming storm
bearing down on us, giving us a dreadful fright,
Travel will be out of the question, the roads will,
prove treacherous, first freezing rain, then a temperature,
drop, ICE....
Then comes the snow, not measured by the inch, but
by the foot, it covers the ice, now come the accidents,
one after another, until they decide to close the roads,
School is already out for Holiday, thank God,
so at least that is one less worry, shoveling...AARRGGHH,
not again, freezing cold, I need a snow blower, SANTA!
I guess we'll have to wait and see, it's still another day off,
wait for the anticipation of being stranded inside,
WAIT! might not be that bad, after all, because we all
know what happens, when you are stranded inside with,
The one you Love.........
Across the fields I stare into the night,
Waiting for a grand and glorious site.
For the site that I was about to see,
Was worth the wait, and patience was the key.
A storm was brewing towards the north,
I sat and waited for it to come forth.
The cool wind cut to the skin,
As my soul leaped from within.
The smell of rain begin to fill the air,
I was here for a reason I didn’t care.
Set up in the bed of my truck,
Camera in hand hoping for some luck.
Just as expected it came in a flash,
Lightning streaked followed by a crash.
I stood in awe as I looked across the field,
Nature at work, God’s art revealed.
The field of cotton lit up like winter snow,
I Grabbed my camera but was to slow.
I was taken by the beauty and forgot to click,
To capture this site you have to be quick.
The night progressed on as I stood in awe,
Until the storm begin to withdraw.
I still remember that wonderful night,
I’ll never forget that beautiful site.
The way the cotton lit up with every strike,
Reminds me of God’s beauty, strength, and might.

A storm comes ashore.
Thunder is as loud as the water crashing below.
Lightening covers the sky above with flashing designs.
All run scared
but i stay and watch.
It looks so beautiful
but its so dangerous.
The storm is like the love between two.
