Woman At Window

A Native American lady,
  In a scintillating...crimson dress,
    Embellished with shells and stars.

Gazing directly at the viewer,
The image of her face casts a grimaced look,
As if she sweats blood from cultural shock.

The clash of cultures are layered,
A cowboy belt adorns her Indian dress,
    Turn-of-the-century wallpaper frames the window.

A Cannon landscape...backdrops the setting,
Native to his style of puff-ball trees,
Under the ice cream...clouds of the sky.
