Rain, Backwards Poem

because you know it can't rain all the time.
Just face the mountains you have to climb.
You'll figure this out, it knows your smart.
You should have listened from the start.

It will consume the people who choose to stay.
Its no ones fault, everyone falls prey.
but it will find you, there is no doubt.
In the basement, you can hide and try to ride it out.

Stomachs start to ache when you hear the storm.
It comes to all of us in a different form.
you will always see it, like the Northern Star.
It doesn't matter who or where you are,

You can't run from it, for this you cannot allude.
It gets a hold of you and changes your mood.
But it does more than just saturate the ground.
Every now and again the rain season comes around.
