Violets

Violets bring healing to the soul,
Colours care for the sick,
Like Florence Nightingale.
Her amethyst fragrance,
For the imagination,
Creativity, wisdom, dignity,
Pride and peace,
Spiritually calming emotions
Humbling in nature,
Brightening up rooms,
As the Lady with the lamp,
Nursed wounded soldiers,
Velvet scented petals!
Meditate her deep blue,
Serenity and tranquillity
Sanctuary for love,
White for innocence,
Pioneering blooms,
Velvet heart shaped leaves
Captivating and beautiful
Flowers,
Medication for life.

Lavender

Lavender infusion,
Straight to the heart,
Beautiful purple,
Florets,
Aroma for life,
Pleasantly pleasing
Arousing perfumery,
Fragrance soothing,
Silence and serenity,
Calming!
My sweet
Scented elegance,
Lavender!
Taste of your kisses,
Romancing invitations
Messages flowering,
Attracting and desiring,
Sending letters,
To your one sweet love.

Jasmine

Beyond imagination,
Jasmine!
A Marilyn Monroe
Among flowers,
Blonde sensual appeal,
Love’s sweet nature
Aroma for life,
Essential oils,
Born to spread fragrance,
Symbol of beauty
Whispering infusions,
A passionate breeze,
Enchanting perfume,
Bringing happiness,
Drifting into the night,
The most seductive scent,
Of her time,
Inspiring the public eye.

On the Wild Side

(On the wild side)

Tenderly...he held her fragile body,
In his big grizzly...arms,
Very scary!

Yes but...not today...
This is my story...lol

Something miraculous
Is going to happen,

Instead of wanting to eat her,
This big bad bear...turns soft,

No it's true!!!!
A freak of nature,
Don't know why,
Can only say...
This is truly an amazing story,
Keep reading...

A ferocious animal,
All of a sudden,
Has compassion,
On the beautiful young girl,

He had a change of heart,
For what ever reason,
Nobody knew why!
I do...but I'm not telling!

His basic instinct...
Should have been to kill,
Instead...picked up her dying body,
And carried it to safety,

He must have sensed,
Something unique about her,
Something more powerful than himself,
Something kind and gentle,
Something pure and innocent,

Sure she was pretty,
But been pretty...
Doesn't always save you,

She had something more
He knew she was special,
He had never felt like this before,

It was more than just love
She had tamed his wild nature,
He'd looked deep into her soul
And it touched his heart,

He took her to the edge...
The village cheeky!

People with guns,
Wanting to shoot him dead,
They didn't understand...
Of course,
They'd already made up their minds,

So he laid her on the ground
Took one last lingering look...
Then hurried away,

Did the bear fall in love.
What do you think!!!!!!!!!!

Balloon Or Bell Flower

Balloon (Flower in England)
(Or Bell in China)

Forever and unchanging,
The legends goes,
As you look into her bloom,
To a world far beyond.
Venus! Goddess of love’s mirror,
Had power to transform,
Reflecting only beauty,
It shattered into small pieces,
Falling to the ground,
Everywhere fragments landed,
Bell flowers grew,
With amazing colour,
The earth under its spell,
Fragrances of beauty,
Blowing in the wind
Creating a world of happiness,
A heavenly paradise,
Purple, blue, pink and white,
A gift for you,
Truly from God.

Nafarmaan Nakhalf Baitay Ka Noha-- Elegy of a Disobedient and Evil Son

BeAdab gustakh jab aulad ho jaye
Chain sukh maa'n baap ka barbaad ho jaye

Cheen le budbakht jo walid ka sarmaya
Jeete jee kion baap na barbad ho jae

Aasteen ka saamp that beta nhi the woh
Maut ae usko woh barbad ho jae

Baap kee jo he raza Allah kee bhi he
Aashna is qaul se aulad ho jae

Maa'n ke hee pairoan talay jannat ko kar talash
Rah se bhatka jo too barbaad ho jae

Beta boorhay baap ka baazu he kehlata
Beta ye na samjhay toh barbaad ho jae

Nek o taabaydar ho aulad to wallah
Walideen ka dil khushi se shaad ho jae

Kia karein woh waladeen jab nakhalaf beta
Mayel e jaur o situm eejaad ho jae

Qibla o Ka'aba kuch kumtar nhi maa'n baap
Kaash hurmat aashna aulaad ho jae

Deen o dunya chin gaee naKhalf betay se
Baap per jo mayel e bedaad ho jae

Tu ne mera dil dukhaya to he mere lal
Hashr tak tu unsuni faryaad ho jae

Kion na ho jae pidar phir zinda dar-goar
Jab pisar badbakht hee sayyad ho jae

Brighton-England

Historical Brighton,
South coast of England,
Surviving foreign sea attacks,
Declining population,
Until the roads improved,
And the train lines brought,
More traveling visitors,
Located one hour from London,
Becoming a boarding point to France,
Trading the port’s economy,
Visitors started to arrive,
King George,
Constructed the royal pavilion,
No expense spared,
Glamorous! Eccentric glory,
Later sold to the city,
A mere fifty pounds,
Tourism!
Day-trippers,
Bathing in the sea,
Said to be healing,
Was that true?
Or did people just feel better,
Away from reality,
Buildings were erected,
Great hotels,
Attractions,
The famous pier!
Making it popular,
Railways a much quicker easier way,
A quirky town for people to frequent,
Even called the hippest city,
How far has it come?
It’s gone all the way,
Popular in every aspect,
Cultural music and arts,
Millions of overnight visitors,
These modern times,
Anything goes,
Has the happiest and coolest beach,
A gay-friendly city
With fun in the sun,
Coffee shops! Bars! Boutiques,
Something for everyone,
A great place!
Brighton!
Do come.

French Fries

It’s time!
Spud,
You’re unearthed,
Exposed,
Don’t go all mushy,
I love your style,
Thinking about you,
Taste buds dance,
My little French fry,
Attractively dishy,
You’re quite a meal,
Deep-fried and hot,
To think dear,
Once just a potato,
Now far from your roots,
Everyone,
Wants part of you,
Quickly!
Let me reach,
I’m thinking!
Tomato sauce,
Hmm!!!!!

Bachelor's Button Flower

Bachelor’s button,
Bursting with energy,
Rapturing into colour,
Expressions of blue,
Banquet of bloom,
Invitations,
Food fit for a king,
What splendour,
Her summertime brings,
Spreading freshness,
Good enough to eat,
Pulsating and vibrant,
Who could resist?
Her fiery passion,
A beautiful lady,
And a recipe for love,
Pure inner beauty,
Eyes to behold
Food for thought!
Let the party begin
Keep her close
What a bouquet
Filling your room,
With happiness.

Forget-Me-Not

Our innermost thoughts,
So precious
We capture them
Inside books,
Writings from our ancestors,
Keepsakes as treasures,
Sentiments of heart,
Expressions,
Planting seeds,
Creativeness growing,
Flowering inspirations,
Poems bloom with nature,
Composing a legacy of love,
Remembrance forever,
Passing on an heritage,
Something of ourselves,
In sadness and joy,
We leave,
Our words say goodbye,
Forget-me-not.
With each petal we pray.

Bee Balm

How can something be so good?
Yet forgotten!
Fragrances that call,
Attention to her beauty
Growing in the wild.
As we pass her by,
Without a care,
Or a second glance,
Not knowing the benefits,
She brings,
Edible flower and leaves,
Soothing in hot water,
Drinking or inhaling,
Alternative healing,
How wonderful a plant,
Medicine for life,
Magnificence growing,
I give her praise,
And adoration,
She infuses her perfume
Garnishing the earth
With potpourri,
Surely I thought!
God must be a woman,
So much creational flare,
Yes! So clever,
Six days she planted
The seventh! Drank its tea.

Olive Tree

The olive tree withstands,
History tells her story,
Age portrays it,
Thousands years of growth,
No matter what comes,
She stands the test of time,
Wars, disasters, blood,
Tears and peace,
Past present and future,
Nothing can uproot,
Or take away her love,
Brilliantly shining,
Her message to the world,
Producing good vibes,
Small oval fruit,
With a bitter flesh,
Food for thought,
And the taste of forgiveness,
Anointing with her oil,
Offering reconciliation,
A symbol of peace,
Honour joy and favour,
Branching into friendship,
Her communication,
Calls from the Garden of Eden
Bringing wealth and health,
The perfect wedding

Aquilegia Granny's Bonnet

Granny’s bonnet
Frilly satin material,
The good old days
How fashion has changed,
And today’s people live,
Their fragrances linger on,
As we gaze upon Aquilegia
With sweetness,
And great pleasure
Pretty purple velvet,
Beauty smiling,
Nature flowering,
Our ancestors live on,
Through her spirit
They bloom every day,
In our hearts,
Reminding us,
Their just a breeze away.
Transporting memories,
Into different realms.

Orange Blossom

Sweet pure innocence,
Wedding day bouquet,
Fresh and tantalizing,
Festive flower,
Orange blossom perfumes,
Evoking romance,
Filling the air with fragrance,
Delicate white petals,
Citrus arousing essence,
Drifting on the breeze,
Into an aphrodisiac,
Stimulating the soul,
With intense zestfulness,
Blooms of beauty grow,
Fertile rich abundance,
Tasty lush flavour,
Sparks of aroma,
Filling the air with love,
Drinking from her fruit
Brings life
And good fortune.
