Father I Thank You- Rhyming Couplet

Father I thank you for this day.
For your faithfulness in every way.

For Health, strength and a mind that is clear.
For family and friends who are near.

For a pillow to lay my head down.
For this house I am living in now.

I thank you God for your loving grace.
I thank you for strength to run this race.

I thank you for a heart to forgive.
For your daily presence as I live.

For your grace, love, mercy, and your peace.
Thank you Father for caring about me.

Lord, Thank You

Lord, thank you for Christmas
And forgotten friends who call
To remind us
We were once useful, after all.
Lord, thank you for friendships, and
Memories of good deeds done
That binds us
On the fragile edge of the sun.
Lord, thank you for our memory's
Landscape of love
And flowers we name at sight
And their fragrance in our hearts
Lord, thank you for Christmas
Whatever day you came
To interchange your joy and place
With my unworthy race.
