There, my eyes fixed on the yellow paving stone.
Amongst a slightly tangled dandelion leaf is a
little purple demon staring back at me.
Just stood casually as the suns rays continue
to bounce vividly off the heated ground.
I notice those pointed eyes all sharp and looking frightened,
that I might disrupt his peaceful unity with the warm breeze.
I won't, but I'll remain enchanted by such presence.
His gold earrings reflect many colours of the passing day,
as they appear all the way up those elongated ears.
A tiny ruby shines from a chain around his neck
and there I see the hour glass dangling unthreateningly.
The indents of aged muscle mould above his chest bone
to form perfect pectorals. On each tiny nipple is another hoop;
only, they are bronze in appearance, almost wilting in their achingness.
I'm overwhelmed as I thought I recognised the curling of his mouth,
a smile for me. I smile back uncertain if he would think I am afraid.
Then his sharp ivory teeth poke out and I know I have done a good thing.
The greens of his emerald eyes enlighten the evilness,
he just wants fresh air from the summers sky as I do.
A tail slivers like a python in the air with a triangular form at its end.
His nails look dangerous on the edges if his twig like fingers.
But I do not feel them piercing my soul.
For his hour glass is not pouring any golden sand on this day, no.
So I watch him leave and I am left to thoughts about a small world
with the beetles, flies and mice.
I find myself then laughing at such mythical fantasies.
The liquid is volatile
It runs the to clouds
If set free
Now it looks down
And look at me
Finds a sweet old memory
Think that he is super high
Wings he got
He can fly
Wings I may
Look in someday
Venus Saturn Mars I say
Someday I will pass their way
With a smile
With a smile I say
Hi
How are you doing tonight?
I’m fine mister, are you the same?
Yes sir, I am, but I forgot my name
There’s an alien with remote in my head
Smile to you, is what you said
So did I smile at you!
And I did say hello!
So mister he now says!
Venus Saturn Mars I say
Someday I will pass their way
With a smile
Like he said, in there
Hey mister have you ever been there?
Ah, how he wields his weapon
So gracefully yet strong; full of pride
Ink drips from the tip like blood
The paper, his battle field
His mind races and swirls
His thoughts pour from his wrist with a flick
Oh, how he eyes his creation
No one deserves to read such a thing
He smiles at his last and greatest piece of art
The words devour his mind
How shall he end it all?
With a lick of his lips he plays God
“You all die!” He screams with a maniac’s laugh
Yet his creations just stare at him
A mocking smile dancing on their lips
How dare his creations defy him so mockingly!
He is the Omega!
A twisted smile forms on his face
No matter…
He will just have to teach them a lesson
In his mind he watches them die
Falling to the floor like flies
Blood splattering everywhere
The sound of a door closing snaps him out of his killing spree
Slammed back into reality of a small room
Four white walls made of pillows
The jacket that hugs you
The Lunatic Writer, they call him
Driven crazy by his own words
But if you truly think about it
Aren’t all writers lunatics?
A step I take,
Another smile on my face
Repeatedly,
Another,
Then another, another and again
Another,
I felt different for the next step
Something hard,
Felt like something
Was falling on my chest
A heavy thing
Metaphorically, of course
Within the next step
The shinny little drops on my eyes
Were being pulled by the gravity
Almost as,
The pull will never end
Not because of the gravitational pull
But,
Because of the reason
That my eyes were in no mood of taking rest
Once again, the watery face of mine was all in smiles
I was somewhere else
This time around,
My neurons had received
The message that,
It was a time not to be sad but to smile
But wait,
You’ve just entered
You can’t yet judge
Weather to cry or to smile
You are walking down your memory lane
There’s lot to see,
Lot to feel
A lot to smile
And lot to cry
