Ol Billy Hail

Ol Billy Hail
He was tough as a nail.
He would out work any man,
with just his left hand.
He had a heart of gold,
Is what the story told.
Always singing a song,
as he worked along.
He sang " So lonely, I wanna change the world,
Then I'll get to kiss the right girl."
To change the world, he tried
But in the end he just died.
Only to be remembered
as the man that cut timber.

If I Could Change the World

If I could change the world
There would be peace on earth
Every child would know their father
All the marriages would work
If I could change the world
The only season would be spring
No children would be aborted
And all the blind would see
If Icould change the world
Homlessness would not exist
There would be no more starvation
The government would see to this
If I could change the world
We would sing a joyful song
Rejoicing for unity among the nations
Even the birds would sing along
