Best Happinesslight Poems
As I sat in my living room
On my cozy big fluffy oarnge
sofa chair, sipping on a cup of
steaming chamomile tea, with
lemon, perched on a yellow porcelain
saucer, and while daydreaming out the
large bay window with chantilly lace
beige curtains... I viewed the funny face
full moon amongst a black curtain of night
time sky. Twinkles of light sparked my
thoughts to invite the light of the moon
inside my soul in order to transform my
spirite into nothing but kindness and compassion.
The moon accepted my invitation in exchange for
blessings and prayers.
See Heaven
Or a little peep perhaps
Viewed unseen but in this summer light
Minnow’s dark tops sides a lovely silver hidden
Mesmeric a contrary counter way shapes and shadows seen
Green reeds softly sway the gentle flanking current persuades
Lit the riverbed of soft golden sands transmuted a bronze by depth
Glistening yellow auric the strong suns noonday blazing light beams down
Ancient buttress grey stone shaped by old artifice gives water a gentle pass
On the river bridge the weight an impetus of water a few feet down below
In the distance once bright garden colours given now soft focus by haze
Comfy white cottages over the river resting in water meadows seen
A self carved path by an enticement no choice drawn to the sea
The river flowing passing on its ancient meandering way
Sheep graze roaming enamoured of the warm grass
Scene of all basking in high summer sun
A pleasant walk down to the river
One of life’s sunshine days
The light toy-railway is traveling,
with the kids who aren’t anymore.
To Paris, to Brussels is traveling,
to the Black Africa too.
The light toy-railway is grieving,
for the fawn’s steps under Christmas tree,
for the luster in the eyes and
ah, for the toys.
For the Blue Bird, for the white photos,
for the hand that is putting the little star.
For the dream that’s coming true.
The light toy-railway is traveling.
Traveling.
