Unspoken Words

Unspoken words, whispers on the waves of the ocean,
Time memories create a world for our friendship to live in.
You always heard the echos of my soul,
The dance within the shadows.
Friendship wears many a face.
Bonds of time, an era long gone by, an imprint of a lifetime
What the heart does, the soul follows, it remembers.
Words are merely a cue sheet,
The stroke of the ink becomes the drumbeat of a song called life.
I remember you, the essence in the weave of life.
Across the distance of time, I wish I could have said what I wanted to you,
Though your life burned shortly in the sky, I remember.
These are the unspoken words,
There are so many unanswered questions, yet I know what happened.
I followed you in the years to come in your footsteps never knowing,
Your art would become the edit of words.
We all have our path.
You may have chosen to end your life with secrets.
The power and essence of you were will live in the fabric of my soul.
I shall remember the woman that made me laugh.
The dance that was once our friendship.
The era that was once your life.

Not Yet Roses

My core being is tired
Drained, exhausted
Where can I rest?
Recharge, sleep
Inject my vitamin
Warmth, revitalized
A burst of soulful sun
Inside, passion
A sense of well being?
Is there any truth to that?
Mother will I be ok?
In my darkness I try not to rot
Maybe a new friend
Affection, sweetness
Can I hold you?
A movie, a ride
Flowers yes not yet roses
Sorry tulips first
A kiss
Gentle dance
Under a quilt
A smile
Explore, search for oblivion
Alone early sunday morning
Let's move
Leave Colorado
How about Vegas?
Big dreams, grand hopes
Girls dance on tightropes
I want
I want to drive
Rent a small place
Black curtains
A television, radio, typewriter
Write a novel together
Soak our brains
In a creative frontier
Rich dynamic climax
With out a plot!
