I first heard of Detur Sanguin
In tales handed down from old.
A man accursed with unquenchable thirst;
A soul to the devil sold.
He made a pact with a demon,
For a lady’s heart to win.
His lust was great, and it would seal his fate.
Here’s where the legend begins.
The lady’s hand had been promised
To his eldest son to wed.
It was a vow he would never allow…
By morning his son was dead.
But the wedding went on as planned.
He said “I do” to his bride.
He sold his life for to make her his wife,
But when he kissed her, she died.
Since that day centuries have passed.
His legend told now and then.
He prowls the night, as a demon in flight,
Stalking the daughters of men.
If you should take a moonlight stroll
On a beach or city street.
And golden hair flows like his lady fair,
One day the two of you might meet.
He is hunting for a victim,
Who will satisfy his thirst.
Another life, like his beloved wife;
The one for whom he was cursed!
You’ll hear the sound of leathern wings,
And a cry of anguish grim.
You’ll feel his breath, e’er a gruesome death.
As he rends you limb from limb.
If you have listened to this tale,
And you wonder if it’s true,
Best keep in mind, such thoughts can make you blind…
The next victim could be you.
Its been many many centuries
Since the day I left
My fathers visions have been foretold
Of our country that has been left so reft
If you stand where I return
Look to the skies and you will see
For after the blinding flash
I will appear in front of thee
Beside me now you stand
A man of history
This day that I returned home
In memory of my family
To be here once again
Where I once stood as a boy
With my family and my friends
The most ultimate of joys
Our castle that was once our home
Where my family were safe and slept
Everyday my clan prospered and grew
Then to a new world, I crept
For that misty night in the Minch
Strange lights rose from its dark
Breaking from the waters so blue
Their silver ship did park
They had lain in patient dormant
Awaiting the birth of me
For thousands of years in the dark
They decided I was the one to free
This quiet son of Kade
To a different world called theirs
Stepped into their ship that parked
Gone from their clan, their heir
He turns to those who stand
Who witnessed his arrival
And the dereliction of grey
His clans castle, and their survival
Its comforts in weathered worn
Surrounded by poppies high
Where once were fields of wheat and corn
All that grows are red of die
For those that stood beside him
Just after that blinding flash
Was Semaj, the son of Kade
Their ancestor from their past

Days turned to weeks as his screams echoed through out those long nights.
Residents packed up their children and quickly took flight.
Legend has it that his screams are still heard to this day
within the wind that should happen to blow by that way.
His father's endless suffering finally ended as it would
on December 25th, the birthday of Good.
He was a heartbeat from death but he managed to say
good bye to his son in his most compassionate way.
"Please forgive me my son. I had no idea
of the monster I had become to someone I love very dear.
I've no excuses. No reasons justify what I've done to you.
I blame myself for all this evil I have driven you to.
I'd suffer more if only for the hope that you would regain
the good that was my beloved son before I caused him such pain.
My time draws near but I swear my son I'll beg the Powers That Be,
Damn me to hell eternally but please set my son free.
You with the power. Restore my son. Once again make him whole.
Most certainly my son can't be an angel without his soul."
These were his last whispered words before he died
as he was drawn into the heavenly light.
"Merry Christmas Angelus," but over all, it wasn't a very good night.

as she walks the halls
with his blood in her
hand, thinking this
is grand.
so mean and so
ungrateful two-faced
and unregretful.
this may be her son
so lonly and so alone
he feels he needs to run.
but with no strength he
yells and yells and all you
could her was the echoes
in the cells.
she enters his cell, with
his blood on the floor and
notices the door, it... was... open
and he was... gone.
she said with a soft voice my
love have you no sympathy for me.
but all you could hear was the
wind...
my love i have no other...
this was no son this was
her brother.
