I F I Could

..............................If I could scoop every tear ever shed for   LOVE
                    Create an ocean of emotion opened to one and     A L L
                      A mingling of passions, dreams, a host of family POETS
                              If I could collect  mankind’s memories :  THOUGHTS
                     From the beginning  of time , the beginning of :   FEELINGS
                      Astute minds , with quill in hand, record the first  EMOTIONS
                               If I could gather all the pieces  of a broken   HEART
                     Mend , sew it back together : forgetting  the pain it   FELT
                     Throbs ;  with new vigor : beating a love song of     POETRY
