Best Faithself Poems
Just when I think I'm on top of
things
I try and fly but realize I've got
no wings
I pick my self up and push
forward
Never looking back as its to
awkward
Positive thinking along the way
Knowing that I'm not going a
stray
God is watching with each step
I take
Holding my hand making sure I
don't break
I've seen the light that lies
ahead
And I thank God that I'm not
dead
Life is so good and so much to
learn
I'm looking forward to it being
my turn
Heavy things can weigh you
down
But never let them bring you
down
Life is to short to live with
regret
Enjoy every moment that you
get
Singing and thinking along the
way
Reassuring your self you are
here to stay
Make the one choice
as a proud as a deviant
invulnerable to captivate
your beliefs to perpetuate
Be first to self-preach
be your favourite Saint
in a world full of religious hate
once you're free you are never late
Kill for God's sake?
what if he didn't exist...
many lives would've been spared
no afterlife to chase in race
then came prophets
to exercise their pace
and since then God been
so rarely or never praised
Jesus haven't said:
"she is not a priestess"
but only the term had
a feminine right to place
Before anyone else does
make your own mind...
and take the self lead
draw the theme of your own space
Create your own tones
no worthless rhymes...
if u're not hearing urself...
just set off the loud base
your self loud voice
solo instrument
to elate your ears...
helps you abandon your fears
As cold as ice
walk into the light
no matter the jeers...
they'll be ur future peers
