Evolution Revolution

The pride and passion practiced and prolonged in one strong life,
Rejects the call to whimsy in this willful, wasted world.
Aware of all redundancies in suffering and strife
They still display with honor our great nation's flag unfurled.

There's glory in the glory of a greater guarantee,
Described in dedications made by immigrants of old
Who came here longing for a little bright-light liberty
And shared their perfect passioin with the proudly brave and bold.

And we begin each year with brand new challenges to face
With seismic salutation to grand stories yet untold
Where even greater gifts of glory bind the human race
When beauty of such brotherhood shines bright upon the fold.

To timelessness of spirit add the courage to engage
As part of all our sisters and our brothers standing strong
Against those evil tyrants who run empires filled with rage
We'll fight with every ounce of might ingrained within our song.

We sing the songs and serenades to lift our fighting soul,
In honor of our heroes and the hallowed ground that bleeds
With blood of men and women who have died but are made whole
When heaven's warrior soldiers cast down perfect planting seeds.

Oh glory to this nation and the citizens who dwell
Within her borders beautiful and stand up unified
We send a message made to tether tyrants deep in hell,
So in the name of liberty our world is glorified.

Let's take the steps we need to make all eulogies in war
As rare as any politician's honesty is rare.
Then hopefully the populus will soon learn to adore
An evolution revolution men of peace can wear.

Broken Wings!

Trapped within this cage of flesh, a sparrow

A soul, always longing to flee its confines, to soar so free

Born, tied to its walls of mephitic truths; but unwilling

These eyes that burn, until they succumb unto its pantheon

Of subsistings stitchings of reasons and thoughts....

Carnivorous' desires to cannibalize its natural foe

Within equilibriums of shiftings enthymemes entrenched

As vague becomes the light, of these eyes that grow blurry

While scratching these pervading concretes of mindlessness

With broken nails, now dripping this crimsons tale

Of a life and soul cast asunder, by the pentacles sharpened edge....

Phalanges forces as famished piranhas, feasting

Upon a skeletally growing figure, that once dreamed of a utopia

The innocence, which through time it lost....

For now it bows, while breathing its gasping and final breaths

Trapped within this cage of rotting flesh, a teardrop falls

Where the shadows servals and the vultures gather--An offering unto

These voracious advesaries, bent, upon their unquenching thirst

Of this unknowing soul....

That once longed to break its fetters, and flee these crumblings

Now buried alive, within the tombs of its sorrows....
