Drilling For Plastic (2/2)

She wasn’t far off basis, I am some what of a pervert. But what she didn’t know is that
her magnificent **** helped me see things a little bit clearer, I had a boob inspired
epiphany.
I wanted to thank her, but it would only have freaked her out.
Especially since I had a *****….

Drilling For Oil

He sat at a desk
Where he had worked for twenty years
As he gathered the evidence collected
He fought back swelling tears

She sat in the home
Where she learned to trust and run
Love had sheltered her and her boys
This couldn't be how LOVE is done

....critical loss

He lugged his suitcase
Down the lonely road of the city
He had three degrees to his name
And a cardboard sign trying to buy pity

She stood under the street light
Waiting for her next trick to drive up
Needed money for living in drugs
Why could she never get enough

....despair

He walked into the restaurant
Fighting back the urge to demand "clean"
Though he tried to ask for a favor
He knew his words were controlling and so mean

She sat in the house of worship
Fearing that an assailant would enter
How could she protect her young
And keep "god" front and center

.....drilling for oil

They gather at promises
Saying they believe the earth holds gold
But as water separates from oil
Terror fills the believer's mold

The black ooze comes to all
But the water of the WORD repels
Nothing can stay where LOVE has cleansed
The heart from systems once held

....as truth

"drilling Into the Walls"

"Drilling into the walls"

it smells like mop water
tell someone, tell someone
who would believe you

it smells like dog vomit
never mind get sick
tell someone, tell someone,
no one care one thing about you~

the true life of a slave
being mopped out~
with dust and mist

All Talk, No Action

They are now but cash cows
(a trough in which to quaff)
for the many attendees
who sit on long-winded
Government-funded investigation committees
no one around to hear the sound
(of what falls in the woods)
while their coffers swelled
for all the papers printed on the ecology
more than several trees were felled
the fracking drilling boring too
(found underground)
wastes water in copious quantities
releases greenhouse gas
and undermines the earth in the final analyses
deliberate discussion and debate
('til the cows come home)
to which they are compelled
only exacerbates the issue
of global warming
with all their hot air expelled
