Heavy is the load
Every sin we ever committed
Christ has taken the blame
Renewed in us the sprit
Our souls have been set free
Safe from Gods righteous judgment
Salvation this Easter week

Dear Lord, you triumphed o'er the grave
Where you were laid, our souls to save.
We gathered in our church to pray
To thank you for this Easter Day.
Christ is risen, Christ is risen,
To take us from our sinful prison.
As wine we drank and bread we ate,
We served you up with every plate
And now to our black sins confessing,
We ask you Jesus, for your blessing.
