Daddy, where has Mommy gone?
She’s gone to heaven, I say.
Will she be coming back?
No, but we can talk to her when we pray.

Why did she have to go, Daddy?
Well, she got sick and God wanted to take her home.
I guess he needed another angel up there,
And your Mommy was just the right one.

But then Daddy, who will be my Mommy?
Well she is still your Mommy, Son, we just won’t see her any more,
But she will be looking down upon us,
And still loving us, for sure.

I will miss seeing her Daddy,
I know, and so will I,
But whenever we miss her too much,
We can just look up to the sky,
And know that she is up there
With other angels who once were Moms
And tell her that we miss her
And are sorry that she’s gone.

Will you be going to heaven too, Daddy?
Well I hope to some day
But first I have a job to do
So I think I’m gonna stay.

What job do you have to do, Daddy?
I have to make sure your Mother’s son, grows up to be a man,
And not until that job is done,
Can I go to see her again.
I promised Mommy I would look after you,
And it’s a promise I mean to keep,
Now say a prayer to Mommy,
And let’s both get some sleep.

Good night, Mommy.
Good night, Dear.

Mom and Dad

To my mom and sweet, sweet dad
I found a place where dreams are had.
Past the world that always weeps
But please stop crying for me, you see
I’m in a place where love is held,
Past the woods and grassy hills.
Here the fairies shine and glow.
With every single breath I throw,
A piece of love and prayer too true
For now I give my love to you.
  Even now as I sleep
I dream of sky’s and sparkling seas,
Loving faces that surround my sight
Keeping the magic threw the night.
As I say goodbye to you
I wish that you would say it too.
For now I’m in a grate new place
Of magic, fairies, and brand new things.

We Will Remember

Today is your day, we wont forget
No matter how much we hate to think of it
Its your memorial, and we will always remember
It was the 11Th of September
I hope you smile, while looking down on us prey
Because its all about you today
The songs we will play for you
The moment of silence too
        The tears that will fall
As we stand 10 feet tall
We know your listening, as we try to hear you
As your peaceful footsteps guide us through
So we will appreciate the rest of your day
Since you were all so carelessly taken away
        Yet, your all angles now
Floating in and out of the clouds

So please, no matter what your religion or beliefs
Close your eyes one time today and say a prayer for those in heaven
        Then do it again,
Just one more time for 9/11.

Guardian Angel

A little girl lie asleep in bed
Enjoying the dreams within her head
She dreamed that she was in a cloud
Then heard an angel call aloud
Her name once more
She knew she'd heard that voice before
Then there before her stood a figure all
Wrapped in white with wings much bigger
For a moment she felt she couldnt breathe
She knew her prayer had been recieved
That god had sent a guardian angel
To guide her as her life went fatal
He came to take her in her sleep
He couldnt stand to watch her weep
He had to take away her pain
He knew she had no more to gain
That night the girl had passed away
In heaven she will always stay

Baby Girl

Baby girl here's a prayer for you,
I know I'm not around to see you grow so true.
Do me a favor and do everything asked of you.
For mommy is going to need your help and depend on you.
Every birthday and special event I will see you too!
For you are daddy's little girl through and through.
Daddy loves you!
