Halloween:My Favorite Holiday

"Halloween:My Favorite Holiday" is a children's song, sung to the tune of "The Battle
Hymn of the Republic".

Oh, did you know that Halloween's my favorite holiday?
I wish I could dress up in costume every day and play.
One day I'd be a witch and oh, the next the I'd be a ghost.
Oh, Halloween's the holiday that I adore the most!

Bonus activity: Ask children if they would like to celebrate Halloween every day?
Would they like to go trick or treating and bring home sacks of candy every day?
Dress up in a different costume every day? Would it be hard to get to know a
person if they were pretending to be someone (or something) else every day?

All Hollows Eve

All Hollows Eve

Tis now quite close to the midnight hour
when the Witches and Warlocks take flight.
Stealing cookies and candy right from your house
as they soar through the shadows of night.

All the havoc they cause in each room as they sneak.
Not a sound nor a whisper they make.
Flying off on their brooms with your Halloween treats.
The wind howls as it snaps at their capes.

The Gremlins and Goblins rise up around two
through the cracks in the floor by your bed.
Breaking your toys and eating your food
leaving nightmares of sorrow and dread.

The sun is now rising with the cry of the crow
and the rooster sends his morning call.
The Witches, Warlocks and Goblins all have gone home
while the Gremlins stone eye watches all.

All Hollows Eve, another year past.
Let us now toast to the missing and dead.
With one leg of a spider, some dust and some ash........
And a freshly cut lock from your head!

Premium Member They Come Out At Halloween

Halloween night, when the ghouls come alive
For these few hours above, they seek and strive
Their grim looks and spooky presence
The mist they drift in, their ghostly luminescence

As the dawn breaks, they are gone from our world
For another year, their eerie sounds won't be heard
But come the next fall, we all need to beware
For on Halloween night, we're in for spooky grim scare

So look after the kids, protect them from the ghouls
For the ghosts in the night, are cleverer than fools
