Only the Strong Can Cry

They say men should never cry,
Luckily, to me you are not a man,
You are just doing all you can,
There is no need for you to lie.

They say men should never cry,
Thinking back to when it all began,
When I needed help you never ran,
Now it's my turn to help you get by.

So all I say is if you need to cry,
Don't hesitate to show tears,
Don't hold back all of your fears,
I will be there, you are not just any guy.

So all I say is if you need to cry,
Stay strong in front of your peers,
But I will be there for the rest of my years,
I will listen and care until the day I die.
