Best Black African Amerlost Poems
So you want to leave your husband, just go
I can understand the meaningless you feel
Under caveman's club and heel
Being mere entertainment for his ego.
So you want to drown your children
It's your lost of heaven
Your world for them was never an Eden
Anyhow ... you carried them as a burden
What the blazes I cannot understand
Is why report your crime and frame the black man
Why this trend, what is the ulterior plan
Is not his colony mired enough with quicksand,
Is not his extinction on the brink
Now that he has lost all to reverse discrimination
I keep my metaphors straight so the point can sink
Into the subtle hell of my frustration.
