we see the poor erupt with little provocation
how many days in a mud hut can count as living?
children sick fear primary emotion
hoplessness
can turn to anger and then action
too many lies
will turn a head
to justice
False hope and many deaths will follow
but a woman can stand
and think of crowds destroying holy ground
and weep without solice
a man can work until his hands bleed
and not have enough for his family
it takes its toll this endless
hoplessness
even faith cannot carry a woman through
when her child is dying
empty promises ignite
when her husband is suffering
hands bleeding
spirit
broken on the ground
we see the poor erupt with little provocation
how many days in a mud hut can count as living?
children sick fear primary emotion
hoplessness
can turn to anger and then action
too many lies
will turn a head
to justice
False hope and many deaths will follow
but a woman can stand
and think of crowds destroying holy ground
and weep without solice
a man can work until his hands bleed
and not have enough for his family
it takes its toll this endless
hoplessness
even faith cannot carry a woman through
when her child is dying
empty promises ignite
when her husband is suffering
hands bleeding
spirit
broken on the ground
