I will wear the wind in my hair
and a pearly smile lips naked bare
that picks up your heart like a prayer
and gives you confidence because I am there

I will color my heart romantic
let it's warmth prove me enchanting
funny Valentine full of love enhancing
celebrating soul my eyes dancing

In my walk you will see the sun
proud and bright unique and once
you feel the rays my step is done
you will know your place children of sunny ones

For in my spirit I wear truth
like light of night a mello moon
that you see in dark or at noon
that you accessorize and see you.

My Jacket

My jacket's either black or blue -
Does this stuff happen to you, too?
I bought it thinking it was black;
If blue, I wouldn't take it back.

Yet now my scarf and gloves don't match
If it is navy; that's the catch.
If it is black, then I'm okay;
Its looks change every single day.

To solve this puzzle, I'll be wise
And splurge when I accessorize
On choices that will be evolved
To match them both - my problem solved!

The Ize Have It

The "IZE" have it

We the people try to Rationalize
the choices we make with compromise

Let's be honest we tend to idolize
and we rarely do apologize

Are rights we try to exercise
to demonstrate and vocalize

But I have come to realize
that this is all a big disguise

Government with power to terrorize
tear you down and demonize

Smile while they vandalize
you freedom, your rights oh,but don't criticize

"For the people" as they dehumanize
baby's in the womb who are being penalized

because maternity clothes are hard to accessorize
It's my body!! We should empathize

Stand up, speak up before we are all criminalized
for doing what's right. so we don't jeopardize

Our one true freedom Jesus whom did rise
So come on America open your eyes!!

Dress Up

Claustrophobic Closets
...full of personalities and promise

what to squeeze into…
what to hide under?
fitting and proper it should be
for this moment, yes?

Metamorphosis into
that which is necessary to

...accessorize the lie

It’s all just dress-up anyway.

Now you should try.
