Zoo Trip

I went to the zoo with my brother
on this glorious day.
And many curious things did happen,
Which may be awkward to say...

First the kangaroo caretaker
had to help make the baby Joey pee.
This was very interesting,
though something we'd rather not see.

Next we watched a large capybara
poop on a turtles head.
While this was also amusing,
we'd rather view cleaner things instead.

And then we watched a little monkey
eat a butterfly.
We came to watch things happily living,
Not to see things die!

And then while we were tired
And making our way out,
A black and white cow had us...
throwing food pellets into his mouth.

This zoo was a very fun place
with discoveries that were free.
But after this adventure,
What more is there to see?!?

I thoroughly loved reading this excellent poem, and I particularly enjoyed the rhyming throughout as well as the plot.
