Zanzibar
The sun breaks into the morning sky,
Sparkling the mirrored waters nearby,
The beautiful birds flock n fly,
As the palm trees sway in the warm breeze closeby.
The semi automous tropical island,
With its beautiful powdery white sand,
Its exotic fruit that grows on its land,
Land of warrious Massai with a wooden spear in his hand.
The vibrant and enchanting stone town,
That leads to darajani as you go down,
The Old fort(Ngome Kongwe) uptown.
The history of the spicy island still wears the crown.
The amazing kikengwa cave,
The island that has the grave,
Old slave market; the story out of 50 men who were brave,
The survivor would be sold as a slave.
The prison island and its great tortoise,
That move with enormous poise,
crystal clear indian Ocean waters that are turquoise,
And the amazing ocean wave noise.
Its aqua waters that glistene in the afternoon sun,
That live beautifull sea shells in their run,
The coconut trees that line up to stun,
Not forgeting the house of wonders as one.
The famous Forodhani park,
That continues to spark,
Glowing during the dark,
With its delicious sea food;coloured shark!
With a blissful day taken
The heart taking sunset at seven,
And the stretch of your imagination forsaken,
Indeed zanzibar is the view of shot heaven!
