Youth and the New Truth of Everything

Youth and the New Truth of Everything
David J Walker

Remember when we were young
and the world was old
Everything was new
		And we knew
Everything
And everything we knew
		Was true
At least it was when we
		Were new
Everything was true
		And we were true blue
Everything was new
		And only we few
Could refute anything
		Untrue
And we knew
		Everything
We grew and flue
with Everything True
We knew and drew pictures
		Of love so true
On hearts that grew
		into a new love
That so few knew
		But we knew
When everything was new
				And true
Until we grew
		Old
