Youth and Naivety

Bright eyes looking in the mirror Curious, old, yet still striking. Searching, wondering, mysterious. All the comforts of youth and naivety. Defiant and forthright What does that mean? Pig-headed and stubborn, one face looks into the other. Forever constant and too fragile to change, One end linking to the other, Joined at the hip yet moving separately. All the comforts of youth and naivety. Sleeping and yet constantly awake in a private world of make believe, where everything is possible even when it's not. The tired exploits of a forgotten past and over active imagination. Belief and truth merging into one. Looking into the mirror, curious, old, yet still striking. All the comforts of youth and naivety. What does that even mean? Sent from my iPhone
