Youth

Unwelcome, Youth embraces
Pasting emotions on faces
Naive to what life advancing will be
Nonchalant, spontaneous and carefree
Youth you will not age relay
Till your idle presence, is snatched away

Enjoy it while it lasts because before you know it you will have to get a job and that's when it's all over. :) Nicely done my friend.

Let innocent youth revel in the glory of childhood. Nicely penned.

Thank you Phil. This poem was written (in my head) on a bus as I gazed at a teenager gazing nonchalantly out of the window.
