Yours and Mine

YOURS AND MINE
Memories that you should lose
but what's the use,
you love what you are going through
it's only mind abuse;

diamond flashes from your rings
no hope it brings,
you'd find yourself in what you have
but they are only things;

change your hair and then your mind,
you can not find,
the look you want to wear tonight,
you've put it all behind;

all the secrets in your eyes
you realize,
someone's discovered who you are,
and why the lady cries;

words of wisdom, words of praise,
all of your days,
will follow you but you won't find
a love that ever stays,
if it's not yours and mine.
