I watch you lay there
Fast asleep
And I can't help but wonder
If your dreams are about me

Watching you lay there
So vulnerable and gentle
Hard to believe that awake
You are no sentimental

Loving you is all I can do
Even with everything
The good but mostly bad we've been thru
I could never hate you

I don't know what it is
But you soften my heart
As strong as I appear to probably be
When it comes to you I am nothing but weak

You own my heart
Its all yours to forever keep
As long as you love me
By your side I will always be
