You'Re Not Really Over Her

Just the other day I came across her phone number
that you had programmed in your cell phone,
And as my mind started to wonder
I was curious to know what was really going on?
You had told me that you were over her
and that she was well in your past,
You had told me how much you hated her
to the point it made you sickening mad.
But lately I have noticed you talking about her
a whole lot more than normal,
And I find myself asking "Is he really over her?"
and if he is not, then our relationship is in trouble.
You seem to find it hard in letting go of the past
you are holding on to raiments of her,
How do you expect our love to last
if you are still holding on to her?
I just wish you would stop lying to me
and just come straight out with the truth,
Why is it so hard for you to accept that your love just was not meant to be
and finally accept that you have someone here that really loves you.
Your business with her should had been finished and over with
a long time ago before you met me,
For her if you felt that you still had some feelings
you should have just let me be.
You are not really over her
and unfortunately, you never will,
I have grown tired of living in her shadow
from out of our lives, I just wish she would disappear.
