You're My Year

Remembering you
August blues, yellow your hue
One year without you

I really liked this heartfelt one and kept going back and forth on placement first or second. In the future, be sure not to capitalize in your senryu or haiku you may write. That's the only thing I wish you had done. Congrats.

The last line says so sadly, "One year without you," and speaks of a precious closeness that is gone. A true poem with so much feeling.
