You'Re Gone
I long for your sweet kisses,
And your skin rubbing against mine.
Every part of you, my heart misses,
I lie and say I'm fine.
But everyone can see right through me,
Since you've been gone, I've been empty.
I can't eat or sleep,
All of your stuff, I've vowed to keep.
I can't bear to throw anything away,
It would feel like I am betraying your memory.
I begged God to let you stay,
But He took you away from me.
Now I'm here, alone and blue,
Wishing I was anywhere with you.
My heart is cold, I will never love again,
Because I can't stand anymore pain.
