Your Yellow Brick Road That Leads To a Sea of Regret
your pride is meaningless
and so is your gold
you walk this yellow brick road
but you are the one who only believes in false hope
you are the one who believes in things that are just figments of this generation
where being real is being fake and just an imitation
you follow your brothers and sisters quickly to the grave
where everything is exactly the same
you were the ones standing for nothing
and falling into temptation for every little thing
trying to play a game that you knew you'd lose
and now the games you have played have played you
you tried so hard to fit into a mold
and as you grew old
the things you once desired
are the things that have now buried you alive
you're drowning in a sea of regret
you never had a chance living your life with a meaningless mindset
