Your Thotful Compassion

Enlarged burdens held me down Like bricks, stones and boulders down below, rising above my feet I barged in on your progress and I’m about to drown As if I became empty after becoming whole again…hear my heart beat Hear my saddened heart beating with yours You, alone, had made me feel change is the only option You have stitched my bleeding wounds and sores You, alone, is thoughtful with so much compassion Your thoughtful compassion Is giving me courageous passion Is giving me a reason to live on Is giving me a season before dawn Is giving me a trillion thousand reason Why I’m alive and surviving — hope has just begun To unfold and embolden me with strength You no longer give me unbearable angst Your thoughtful compassion Starts with action and satisfaction and a beautiful direction and affection Anchored down into the sea of my miseries and anxieties But, I’ll rise above it all, above the surface and above heaven’s height The Phoenix in my heart burns on You won’t hold me down any longer, hon Hear my saddened heart beating with yours You, alone, had made me feel change is the only option You have stitched my bleeding wounds and sores You, alone, is thoughtful with so much compassion Your thoughtful compassion Is giving me courageous passion Is giving me a reason to live on Is giving me a season before dawn Is giving me a trillion thousand reason Why I’m alive and surviving — hope has just begun To unfold and embolden me with strength You no longer give me unbearable angst Your thoughtful compassion Starts with action and satisfaction and a beautiful direction and affection Your thoughtful compassion Makes me feel so much satisfaction I’m appreciating all the interaction With my affectionate blissfulness in action Your thoughtful compassion Gave me true, divine direction I’m loving, never hating your happiness, though it’s a distraction You gave me joyful admiration Hear my saddened heart beating with yours You, alone, had made me feel change is the only option You have stitched my bleeding wounds and sores You, alone, is thoughtful with so much compassion Your thoughtful compassion Is giving me courageous passion Is giving me a reason to live on Is giving me a season before dawn Is giving me a trillion thousand reason Why I’m alive and surviving — hope has just begun To unfold and embolden me with strength You no longer give me unbearable angst Your thoughtful compassion Starts with action and satisfaction and a beautiful direction and affection Hear my saddened heart beating with yours You, alone, had made me feel change is the only option Your thoughtful, beautiful compassion pours Upon my spirits of radiant, roving rejuvenation
