Your Soap Cage
I've never seen a point in things like EastEnders or coronation street
With every year the same bloody thing, repeat repeat repeat.
Someone gets murdered they changed the name
They did this last year, the plot lines the same.
Peggy dies and you shed a tear
What about the homeless or kids in Syria, what exactly is it you fear.
Your TV screens have your mind upside down
In their false depression they'll have you drown.
Life is not as bad as they've made you think
You're no where near the brink.
Turn your screens off and join the few
Read a book or enjoy a morning dew.
Get out into the world and try to be kind
Internal peace is yours to find.
Learn to think and stop being a sheep
Your soul wants you to wake, to long you been asleep.
