Your Smile

The smile you manage when all isn’t well,
Can’t always be the easiest thing to do.
It disrupts any grief that might compel,
When your sunny attitude shines through;
Your smile tells others just who you are,
And portrays to them, the words, I care.
It soothes, as balm, for that mental scar,
And lifts another from their deep despair;
