Your secret pain

Your secret pain By Michelle Morris 28/01/2025 Your secret pain Is not a secret to me It is known and it is felt Ever so deeply The raw edges of sorrow The grief that you try to numb The rage and guilt and depression It almost makes you come undone When you're tripping over words When you're hiding out inside When you're irritable and silent When you're showing your darker signs Remember that you're human You're not meant to shine always You can express your deepest feelings Without fear of being judged or shamed This doesn't give you carte blanche To trample over others Nor does give you permission To hurt or spread the Darkness bubble Love and Kindness can be shown No matter what our situation To ourselves and those around us We hold the Light and Hope and Faith Remember that your secret pain Doesn't have to remain locked inside You have to set the Darkness free So you can overcome this in time The raw edges of sorrow will heal The grief will scar over in time The rage and guilt and depression Will become part of lessons and rhymes You'll find the words to say You'll no longer hide from the world You'll step into the Light and breathe You'll know Peace and Love unfurled Remember that you're a powerful Soul Nothing can dim the Light of your Divinity You're here to experience Lessons and Blessings Transmute all Darkness to Light infinitely © Michelle Morris, 2025
