Your Reflection
I had been missing mostly,
for countless time, it seems,
and though each piece was jaded,
fading underneath,
still I felt some tugging,
a spark in this dark space.
Something that had changed inside me,
filling empty space.
So I turned upon a mirror,
for it truly cannot lie,
and I knew it would show me,
deep down, what dwelled inside.
And in the glass I did see
something quite beautiful, yet strange,
a glimpse of my transformation,
all that shimmered change.
For you were my reflection!
within the window to my soul,
and in all things it's you now,
of my heart, you have control.
No test in the world could prove more,
then what I saw that day,
for you are mine, and I am yours,
forever in my heart you'll stay.
