I can't stop thinking of how wonderful it would be to witness a child overcoming the fear of learning how to ride a horse; to watch, or as you expressed it, participate in the development of their trust in themselves and with the nature of such a powerful and beautiful creature - someday I'm gonna ride horses, preferably with no instruction, because I'm dumb like that - you could be a great Mother Jay - J.A.B. %

Ive Been Told That Often Justin...One Day When Im Ready and a Bit Older I'll have children...Not too many though, because I know how they can drive a person insane. This poem was about my best friend, who more often than not, was in need of my mothering...I encouraged her to continue riding even though she was scared, and even though she had been hurt by it before.

I often gave her advice and a shoulder to cry on, and though many times she didnt return the favor I never held it against her. So, I guess in a way, I was like a mother to her. Thank you for reading and comenting. Your compliment means much to me.
